## About

Iowna & Kelly Designs is a New Zealand-based creative fashion collaboration built at the intersection of drag, performance, and unapologetic queer expression. Rooted in the energy of Aotearoa’s drag and LGBTQ+ communities, IK Designs creates bold, theatrical pieces designed to be seen on stage, in nightlife spaces, and in moments where identity is fully lived out loud.

The brand embraces drag as both art and resistance—drawing on glamour, exaggeration, gothic textures, and street-level DIY craft to produce clothing that feels alive under stage lights. Each piece is designed with movement, presence, and performance in mind, supporting drag artists and performers who want garments that amplify character, emotion, and narrative.

IK Designs also centres inclusivity and body diversity, creating fashion for all sizes and expressions, with a strong focus on plus-size and non-traditional silhouettes often overlooked in mainstream design. The work is deeply collaborative, shaped by lived queer experience and a commitment to visibility, safety, and creative freedom.

At its heart, Iowna & Kelly Designs is not just clothing—it’s transformation. A space where costume becomes identity, and identity becomes spectacle. Built in Aotearoa, made for the stage, and grounded in community, IK Designs celebrates the beauty of becoming louder, stranger, and more visible than the world expects.
