Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated:
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the standards that apply to everyone who uses the Local Drag platform (the Platform) and to all content submitted to it. It is one of the guidelines referred to in our Terms of Use, Terms of Service, and Business Listing Terms of Service, and it applies in addition to them. If there is any conflict, the relevant Terms prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
In this Policy, we, us, and our refer to the operator of the Platform, and content includes profiles, business listings, biographies, descriptions, images, logos, links, service details, endorsements, and contact messages.
1. Who this applies to
1.1
This Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including members of the public, registered performers, people who manage business listings, and anyone who submits content or sends messages through the Platform.
2. General standards
2.1
When you use the Platform you must act lawfully, honestly, and respectfully. You must not use the Platform in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, harmful, or that interferes with others' use of it.
3. Content standards

- is discriminatory or promotes hatred or violence against any person or group;
- is obscene, or is sexual content involving or sexualising minors, or is otherwise unlawful;
- infringes anyone else's intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights;
- depicts a person without their consent, or discloses someone's private information without authority;
- impersonates any person or misrepresents your affiliation with any person or organisation; or

You must not:
- use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- harass, abuse, threaten, or deceive other users, including through contact messages or endorsements;

5. Reporting breaches
5.1
If you see content or conduct that breaches this Policy, please report it to us at hi@localdrag.co.nz, or use our Notice and Takedown Policy for content you believe is unlawful or harmful.
6. Consequences of breaching this Policy
6.1
Where we reasonably consider that this Policy has been breached, we may take any action we consider appropriate, including removing or editing content, unpublishing a profile or listing, refusing a change proposal, suspending or terminating an account, withholding or withdrawing visibility, and reporting matters to the relevant authorities. We may act at our discretion and are not obliged to give reasons.
6.2
This Policy does not require us to monitor or review content, but we may do so. Acting (or not acting) in one case does not oblige us to act in the same way in another.
